Solasafe Architectural / Flat Glass Film Warranty Warranty period: Varies according to the specific film, glass application, installation conditions and manufacturer warranty, with coverage up to 7 years from installation. The applicable period should be documented on the quotation, invoice or warranty certificate. Covers: Manufacturing/material defects including: Cracking Crazing Peeling Delamination Abnormal or premature fading Remedy: If a defect is confirmed, the affected film may be repaired or replaced, subject to the remaining original warranty period. Pro-rata: Where applicable, warranty claims are handled on a pro-rata basis according to the time elapsed since installation, with any applicable balance for replacement/refitting payable by the customer. Registration: Warranty registration/authentication should be completed within 30 days where required. Exclusions: Thermal stress or thermal shock Glass cracking, breakage or shattering Unsuitable or defective glass Structural movement Incorrect cleaning or maintenance Abrasive materials or unsuitable chemicals Scratches, wear or physical damage Unauthorised installation, alteration or removal Failure of surrounding glazing or building components The warranty is for the film, not the underlying glass. Solasafe does not guarantee specific energy, heat or glare-reduction results, as these can be affected by the building, glazing and environmental conditions. Liability: Limited to the original purchase price of the film, with indirect, incidental and consequential losses excluded where legally permissible. Full warranty terms are available on request.
